“ One of the best go to Indian restaurant in the area we have been go their for years. The food and service always excellent and consistent. We almost always get their fresh non, vegetable samosa, Aloogabi and chicken Vendaloo. Don't forget the Chi tea too. ”
“ This is the best Indian restaurant I've been to. There are many great vegetarian options! My favorites are the Paneer Masala and Dal Tarka. The Greek Salad is also really good! I've actually only eaten inside one time, all the other times have been takeout, but it's cute and intimate inside and the service was great, also! ”
“ They have really exceptional Indian food. The family run business is friendly and considerate. They added a complimentary rice pudding on a take order for no apparent reason. My favorite is the Saag Paneer with garlic naan but every dish I've had is very tasty. ”
“ OH MY GOSH!!! Best food ever! Soooo good! Looks: Welcoming, clean, full. Service: Outstanding, respectful waiters. Food: Best Indian food, spicy, generous portion. I rate India Gate far more than 5 stars. Please try their food! ”
“ We decided to eat at the restaurant. The service is excellent, everyone is very attentive and helpful. The food was okay, with a mix of hits and misses. With eating here on the weekday, there was few other people eating here, most were coming in for takeout. Eggplant Bharta- in two spoonfuls, found 8 black pepper corns, and quite a high amount of peas. There was also a thick layer of oil covering the dish. Would have preferred more eggplant present throughout the dish. Samosa- lots of chili flakes in the filling and pretty spicy. The outer pastry had a nice crunch. Tikka Masala- pretty classic dish, ordered at a 3 level spice but it was fairly mild. Note: The lamb imparts a very strong taste in the saag. ”
“ We've ordered take out from India Gate multiple times over the last year or two. They are very consistent. A few days ago we ordered the Aloo Gobi, Saag Paneer, Lamb Tikka Masala, Garlic naan and Onion naan. The Saag Paneer is always delicious, and the Lamb is always nicely cooked and not chewy. Really good flavor and thickness to the tikka masala sauce, too. The naan's were good but nothing particularly special. While we went with mild spiciness this time, we've tried various spice levels and they're pretty accurate; the vindaloo dishes with max spiciness is very spicy but not quite as spicy as some places. India Gate will continue to be a go-to for us for Indian take-out. ”
“ We enjoyed our in person dining. Nice service and good food. The Dining room was pretty quiet, and there was a steady stream of take out. We started with perfectly crispy papadum with chutneys and riata. Then vegetable samosas with a nice spicy potato filling. The chicken Tika marsala was the best dish of the night. This dish is a standard for us whenever we have Indian. This preparation tasted long cooked. And it had a deep and complex flavor. The lamb biriyani was fragrant with spices and the lamb was very tender. The plain naan was formed and cooked well. We really enjoyed pur meal. ”
“ Came here to order lunch to go. We came in and were greeted and given menus. I chose the saag paneer which comes with rice, vegetable pakora, and roti. The saag paneer was super tasty and I got it at a level 5 and it was perfectly spicy for my taste. The rice was well seasoned. The vegetable pakora was crunchy and still soft on the inside. The roti was soft and so tender, it was ready to rip. Overall, we had 3 orders and they brought it out pretty quick. I can't wait to try the lunch buffet next. ”
